The Governing Council projects inflation to average 2.3% in 2024, 2.0% in 2025, and 1.9% in 2026.

The Governing Council expects the key ECB interest rates to remain at their present levels until it has seen the inflation outlook robustly converge to a level sufficiently close to, but below, 2% in the medium term, and such convergence has been consistently reflected in underlying inflation dynamics.
