Europe's Accountability Engine

About Fontfore

What is Fontfore?

Fontfore is an autonomous, AI-powered accountability engine that tracks measurable, time-bound commitments made by European politicians, institutions, and business leaders. When the deadline arrives, each claim is scored against verified statistical data from Eurostat, the ECB, and national statistics offices. This is not a prediction market or speculative poll — only real commitments someone actually made publicly are tracked.

How are claims extracted?

Our pipeline monitors official sources: EU institutional press releases, government policy documents, parliamentary records, speeches, and press conferences. AI models identify specific, measurable commitments with a clear deadline and an accountable party. Each extracted claim is then scored for quality before it appears on the site.

How are claims resolved?

When a claim's deadline passes, the resolution engine searches for the relevant statistical data — GDP growth, inflation rates, employment figures, renewable energy shares, and more. A verdict of Delivered, Missed, or Partially Delivered is proposed based on the evidence, then reviewed by a human before being published. Every verdict links to its statistical source so you can verify it yourself.

Quality criteria

Every claim must meet five criteria to be published:

  • Measurable target — contains a specific number or threshold
  • Future deadline — specifies when it should be achieved
  • Attributed — made by a named person or institution
  • Forward-looking — a promise about the future, not a report on the past
  • Falsifiable — can be objectively verified with statistical data

Data sources

Claims are extracted from EU institutions (European Commission, European Central Bank, European Investment Bank, European Parliament), national governments of all 27 EU member states, and international organisations. Resolution data comes from Eurostat, the ECB Statistical Data Warehouse, and national statistics offices.
